	<application>Synaptic Package Manager</application> requires a clear environment with no half installed packages to perform additional changes. But at the moment there is no way to continue canceled installations within <application>Synaptic Package Manager</application>.<emphasis>Debian only:</emphasis> You can change the default behavior in the preferences.Choose <guibutton>Custom Filters</guibutton> from the category combobox in the main window.Choose <menuchoice><guimenu>Package</guimenu><guimenuitem>Force Version...</guimenuitem></menuchoice> from the menu to open a dialog with all available versions of the package.Displays global informations about the status of <application>Synaptic Package Manager</application>.During the processing of the changes you will see a progressbar. Wait until the changes have been applied. This can take some time depending on the number of changes.
